Sharon Lee Winn, 77, of Johnston City, passed away at 2:35 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Herrin Hospital.
Sharon was born on August 21, 1946, in Johnston City to Virgil Williams and Flora Eileen (Adamson) Perko. She was united in marriage to Theron Winn on September 9, 1967. They shared almost 57 years of marriage.
Sharon was a homemaker for most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Grange Hall Free Will Baptist Church in Marion. In her younger years, Sharon enjoyed traveling. She had a heart for dogs and enjoyed doing puzzles.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Theron Winn of Johnston City; two children, Joey (Melissa) Winn of Herrin and Tammy (Jim) Boucher of Murphysboro; stepdaughter, Rayna (Sheldon) Drum of Jonesboro, AR; eight grandchildren, Taylor (Will) Winn-Varner, Joely Winn, Sarah Hill, Alex (McKhaylah) Hill, Emily (Eli Ragsdale) Hill, April Williams, Jadyn Anderson and Shane Anderson; several great-grandchildren.
