Daralyn Louise Sheppard, 89, of Herrin and formerly of Carterville, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Goldman officiating. Burial will be in Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Herrin Food Pantry.
Daralyn was born on September 26, 1934, in Williamson County, Illinois, to Henry Oscar and Olivia E. (Uhley) Fries. She married Russell Lee Sheppard on April 11, 1952, in Arkansas. He preceded her death in October 1991.
