Judith Kay "Judy" McRoy, age 68, of Marion, IL, passed away suddenly at 11:46 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2024, in Deaconess Heartland Regional Medical Center of Marion, IL.
She was born on January 26, 1956, in Marion, IL, the daughter of Howard Lynn and Eunice (Klope) Salzman.
Judy attended school in Marion and was a graduate of Marion High School Class of 1974.
Shortly after graduation she was united in marriage to William John "Bill" McRoy in Davis Prairie Church, located east of Marion, on October 18, 1974, and together they have shared nearly 50 years of marriage.
She never worked outside of her home but enjoyed staying at home seeing to the needs of her husband, family and managing her home.
For many years she was a member of Third Baptist Church of Marion, IL, where she was actively involved in Vacation Bible School, Sunday school, the Bereavement Committee and the Baby Bib Ministries. Recently she transferred her membership to First Baptist Church of Marion, where she continued t
