Linda J. "Ace" Crosby, age 71, of Marion, IL, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully with her family near, at 8:49 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in Deaconess Heartland Regional Medical Center of Marion, IL.
She was born in Chicago, IL, on August 27, 1952, the daughter of Shirley Ann Jackson who raised her.
Linda attended school in the Chicago area and continued her education by receiving her Associate Degree in Social Work.
She was united in marriage to John Edward Crosby, Sr. in Chicago, IL, on April 8, 1974, and together they shared two years of marriage until his death on November 12, 1976.
While living in Chicago, she worked for the State of Illinois Department of Human Service as a social worker, for 25 years until her retirement.
Before moving to Marion several years ago, she attended and was a member of New Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago.
