Larry "Arnold" Lee Miller, 72, passed away, on Sunday, June 30th, 2024 at SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Larry was born on March 6th, 1952, to Glenn Miller and Dorothy (Cunduff) Laird. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend to many near and far.
Larry worked for Old Ben Coal 24 for 22 years, where he was very active in his union, and was a bar owner of then Arnold's in Royalton, IL for 15 years.
Larry was a dedicated fisherman, Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan, and lover of the outdoors. He will be remembered for his sense of humor as a practical joker, his loyalty to the people he loved, and his patriotism.
Larry is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Laird, father Glenn Miller, stepfather Vernon Laird, sister Sandra Miller Austro, and brother Dennis Miller.
He is survived by his daughters Kristie Miller Browning of Zeigler, IL, Lori (Jeff) Bennett of Ewing, IL, grandchildren Jordan Bennett of Minneapolis, MN, Alex Bennett of Ewing, IL, Hayden Ra
