Patrick Everett Harlow, age 89, of rural Cobden, IL, passed away peacefully at 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in the Community Living Center of the Marion Veteran's Hospital of Marion, IL.
He was born in Granite City, IL, on November 3, 1934, the son of Abraham Lincoln and Bessie Ellen (Purcell) Harlow.
He answered the call of this nation by serving in the United States Navy during the time of the Korean War and after his period of faithful service was honorably discharged with the rank of Seaman.
He was united in marriage to Peggy Sue Jordan on November 29, 1958, in Collinsville, IL, and together they have shared over 65 years of marriage.
His working career was as an Iron Worker, working on many large projects.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Granite City, IL.
He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, member of American Legion Post of Anna, IL, the Iron Workers Local Union No. 387 and a faithful member of the Democratic Party.
