It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Franklin Rainey on August 21, 2024 in Marion Illinois. Robert (Bob) Franklin Rainey was born on January 24th 1951 in Mt Vernon, Illinois. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, Owner /Operator at Rainey's Trucking, auto mechanic, carpenter, caregiver, and a dear friend to many. Bob was a joy in himself to be around and loved spending time with family and helping others anytime he could. He enjoyed Church, Music, Nascar, Racing, auto mechanics and mostly he loved to TINKER and could fix anything! He also enjoyed collecting, salvaging, and scraping.
