Mae Pearl Winslow, 81, of Johnston City, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 10:13 a.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Mae was born on January 22, 1944, in Mountain Creek, Alabama to Ollie and Agnes (Mullins) Glenn. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Henry Winslow, on November 14, 1969, in White City, Alabama. They shared 54 years of marriage together.
Mae was a graduate of Billingsley, Alabama High School. She previously worked as a telephone operator for several years before she became a homemaker, taking care of her husband and five children. Mae was an avid Alabama Football fan. She also enjoyed cooking and reading. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Mae is survived by her husband, Henry Winslow of Johnston City; five children, April (Jim Dwyer) Winslow-Hines of Marion, Wendy (Tom Klein) Winslow of Marion, Tracy Winslow of Johnston City, Rodney (Amanda) Winslow of
