Mae Dean Doron, age 88, of Creal Springs, IL, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 6:20 p.m. at The Anchor of The Voyage Senior Living in Marion, IL.
Mae was born on Friday, May 8, 1936, at home in Johnson County, IL, one of eleven children to Ed and Nancy (Webb) Lamphere.
She married James L. Doron on December 25, 1951 in Marion, IL and together they shared nearly sixty-one years of marriage until he preceded her in death on December 13, 2012.
Mae was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She lovingly cared for her family and was an excellent homemaker. She loved to cook and bake. She was especially known for her delicious coconut cream pies. She loved to garden and tend to her flowers. Mae was a faithful member of Cana Baptist Church of Creal Springs. She loved her church and her church family dearly. Second to her Lord, Mae's family was the center of her life. She loved her children and especially loved to dote on her gran
