Blanche Marie Thorn, 73, of Marion, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.
Blanche was born on June 5, 1951, in Karnak to Charlie Paige and Alice May (Harris) Burns. She was united in marriage to Gary Dean Thorn on April 19, 1969, at the Jonesboro Pentecostal Church. They shared almost 51 years of marriage together, before he preceded her in death on March 6, 2020.
Blanche had a servant's heart and fervently loved the Lord. She always made sure her family and those around her were taken care of. Blanche enjoyed cooking and feeding her family. She was the happiest helping others.
Blanche is survived by her three children, Deana (Jason) Englebright of Johnston City, Micah (Katie) Thorn of Crosby, Texas, and Kimberly (Mark) Dimock of Johnston City; grandchildren, Haley (Justin) Muniz, Erin (Connor) Reed, Emily Thorn, Madilyn Thorn, Ava Thorn, Tucker Dimock, and Holden Dimock; great-granddaughter, Evelynn Reed; three siblings,
