Derald "Dee" Gene Snyder, 73, of DeSoto, went home to be with his Lord, on March 2, 2025, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2025, at Grand Avenue Christian Church in Carbondale, with Pastor Patrick Langan officiating, and a dinner to follow. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday, at the church. Please dress casually, and wear hunting attire of camouflage and orange, to show your love and support.
Memorial contributions can be made to Grand Avenue Christian Church in Carbondale.
Dee was born on August 24, 1951, in Carbondale, to Ray Andrew and Thelma Ann (Jones) Snyder. He married Patti Ann Buesking on April 28, 1984, in Makanda. Together they shared 40 wonderful years.
He is survived by his wife, Patti Synder; daughter, Kelly Snyder; son, Marshall (Andrea) Snyder; brother, Wade (Lois) Synder; grandchildren, Lily Frantz, Audrey (Toby) Farrar, Sam Snyder, and Storme Snyder; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Farrar
