Tammy Lynn Howell, 56, of Colp, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with Rev. Ralph Brandon and Pastor Michael Agapito officiating. Burial will be in Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
Tammy was born on March 30, 1968, in Herrin, to Dewey Lee and Melba Doris (Hogg) O'Daniell. She married James Howell on October 25, 1991, in Carterville.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Howell; daughter, Alex Howell; grandsons, Atticus and Malakai Howell; brother, Deron (Pam) O'Daniell; plus several aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents.
