Donna L. LeGrand, age 81, of Marion, IL passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 8:51 p.m. in Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.
She was born on September 8, 1943 at St. Mary's Hospital in East St. Louis, IL, to Galen B. and Irene Mary (George) Woodiel.
Donna attended Poplar Bluff Senior High School where she graduated in the Class of 1961.
Soon after graduating high school, she married Ralph LeGrand on September 19, 1961 in Biloxi, MS, and together they shared nearly fifty-seven years of marriage until he preceded her in death on July 18, 2018. Soon after their wedding, the couple moved to Big Springs, TX where Ralph was stationed with the United States Air Force. After Ralph was honorably discharge from the Air Force, the couple moved to St. Louis for Ralph's job. After some time was spent there, another job change led the couple to Southern Illinois. It was after their move to Southern Illinois that Donna began her career of many years with Zwick's Shoe Store located on
