Sharon Kay Olkoski, 77, of Herrin, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 12:30 p.m., Friday, March 14, 2025, at her home.
Sharon was born on February 29, 1948, in Herrin to Charles and JoAnn (Adams) Frost. She was united in marriage to Frank Olkoski Jr., on October 10, 1987, in Colp. They shared 36 years of marriage together, before he preceded her in death on March 1, 2024.
Sharon was a 1966 graduate of Herrin High School. She joined the work force upon graduating. She was a longtime employee at Herrin Walmart and later worked for American Magnetics. Sharon had a servant's heart and was a caregiver for many people over the years.
Sharon attended Hurricane Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to lunches with her friends and playing bingo.
