Linda Marie Hale, 81, of Pittsburg, passed away at 8:05 p.m., Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.
Linda was born on November 8, 1943, in Johnston City to the late Loren and Laura (Adkins) Childers. She was united in marriage to Doyle Hale who preceded her in death.
Linda was a high school graduate of Johnston City High School. She was a member of Whiteash Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Linda loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She had a special bond with her grandson, Clinton, and loved helping to take care of him.
Linda is survived by her children, Owen Stone of Silver Springs, Florida, Teresa (Greg) Boles of Marion; four grandchildren, Brandi (Tim) McKeal of Kirksville, MO, Chris (Renea) of Galatia, Clinton Mandrell of Marion, Megan Boles of Carbondale; four great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; one sister, Kae Collins; a special nephew, Delbert Childers and numerous other nieces and nephews.
